What is Work Area Recovery?
Work area recovery is the provision of alternative workspace and equipment so staff can continue critical functions when their primary site is unavailable.
Historically this meant a contracted recovery site with desks and phones. Post-2020 it usually means a tested remote-work fallback, but the principle is unchanged: people need somewhere to work and the tools to do it.
A continuity plan should name the recovery option for each critical process and the trigger for invoking it.
Put the theory to work.
Resilira turns these concepts into a running program — BIA, plans and compliance, audit-ready in days.
